NRSG 424 Child/Adult Health III

This is the third of the Child Adult Health courses. This course focuses on nursing care of children, adults and families experiencing multiple problems or striving to maintain or regain optimal health. The content areas in this course are the cardiovascular and neurological systems. Selected nursing care situations require the student to synthesize knowledge and skills from previous nursing courses and supportive courses while using the nursing process as a framework for care. This course focuses on the use of evidence-based resources and guidelines for care. Clinical experiences utilize the simulation laboratory, Sanford Health and Sanford Children's Hospital, Fargo, ND and Anne Carlsen Center, Jamestown, ND.
