Students will:

  1. Students will appreciate the distinct approach of religious studies (in contrast to, say, philosophy of religion or confessional theology)
  2. Students will solidify a basic knowledge of Christian scriptures and beliefs
  3. Students will begin to glimpse the broader world of global and non-Western religious traditions
  4. Students will begin to see how Christianity might converse with these global religions as well as with broader disciplines such as philosophy and psychology
