An advanced level of study incorporating technical and perceptual drawing skills, developing personal style in a variety of methods and materials.

Student Learning Outcomes

  1. The student should be able to understand and display atmospheric perspective and realistic visual weight when showing many layers of depth
  2. The student should be able to accurately depict form/sale/two-point-perspective in a landscape with buildings
  3. The student should be able to draw a deciduous tree (in a natural setting) showing the type of tree it is
  4. The student should be able to accurately place at least three objects in a composition and show three or more surface reflections using one light source
  5. The student should be able to draw a self-portrait showing one light source
  6. The student should be able to mat his/her art for the art show
