Student Learning Outcomes

1. The student should be able to hand-build two pinch pots.
2. The student should be able to hand-build two coil pots.
3. The student should be able to hand-build two slab pots.
4. The student should be able to build a combination pot using all three hand-building methods.
5. The student should be able to use potter’s wheel to make two each: cylinder, out-curved, incurved pots.
6. The student should be able to make one combination pot on the wheel using three throwing shapes.
7. The student will have a total of 14 pottery making styles from which he/she will select one example of each (8) for the November All Students Art Show, where their work will be graded.. All work will be identified by student.
