Student Learning Outcomes

  1. Use anatomical terms to describe the basic anatomy (structure) and physiology (functioning) of the body systems covered in this course (cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary and reproductive)
  2. Describe human embryonic development
  3. Describe homeostasis and some of the homeostatic imbalances that can occur in the body systems covered in this course
  4. Use anatomical terms to describe the basic anatomy (structure) and physiology (functioning) of the body systems covered in this course
  5. Identify basic anatomical structures associated with the body systems covered in this course
  6. Describe factors that influence cardiovascular dynamics, respiration, digestion and urine formation, using the conceptual understanding developed through computer simulations
