- At the end of the course, the student should be able to: Interpret and explain fundamental wastewater engineering concepts.
- Ability to design systems, components, or processes in Wastewater Engineering.
- Solve problems in wastewater engineering.
- Explain processes involved in physical treatment, chemical treatment, biological treatment, and sludge treatment.
- Ability to apply knowledge of mathematics through differential equations, calculus- based physics, chemistry, and environmental science.
- Ability to identify, formulate, and solve civil engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.
- Ability to apply knowledge in the following civil engineering areas: Environmental.
