Student Learning Outcomes

  1. This is a continuation of CHEM 493. This course has a four-fold purpose: to gain experience in researching a topic of importance in chemistry.
  2. To gain experience in written scientific communication.
  3. To gain experience in oral communication of scientific information.
  4. To gain experience reading and analyzing the scientific literature. The seminar sequence will culminate in a presentation of the main topic by the student to the campus community.
