A continuation of CHEM 493 culminating in the presentation of the project to the campus community.

CHEM 493 or successful participation in a research program (such as a summer undergraduate research experience); permission of department chair

Student Learning Outcomes
- This is a continuation of CHEM 493. This course has a four-fold purpose: to gain experience in researching a topic of importance in chemistry.
- To gain experience in written scientific communication.
- To gain experience in oral communication of scientific information.
- To gain experience reading and analyzing the scientific literature. The seminar sequence will culminate in a presentation of the main topic by the student to the campus community.
