Student Learning Outcomes
- To equip the student with the analytical, critical, and empirical skills she/he will use to conduct research in the field of communication. This is the capstone course in the student’s undergraduate work. Because the student will begin his/her own research (instead of only reading the works of other scholars in the field), the course is structured around his/her independent work. The research combines the rigor of independent study and the serendipitous stimulation of independent discovery; the process includes both challenge and reward.
