DIG 150 Editorial Design

DIG150 introduces students to foundational concepts and practices in digital graphics and visual communication. The course focuses on design principles, visual literacy, and introductory technical skills using industry-standard software including Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. Students explore how images, typography, and layout communicate meaning in both print and digital contexts. Emphasis is placed on creative process, documentation, and aesthetic decision-making through hands-on projects and reflective practice using the Design Codex.
