LDRS 401 The Discerning Leader
The purpose of this course is to continue the exploration of the nature and dynamics of leadership. A continuation of LDRS 301, this course will explore leadership topics such as diversity, creativity in leadership, organizational leadership, and the servant leadership model. Students will submit a finalized version of their future action plan for leadership in their lives.

- Engage in ethical discernment regardless of situational exigencies.
- Identify the driving motives and values behind decisions made by themselves and others.
- Understand and evaluate the role of worldviews in leading diverse groups of people
- Analyze the situational pressures that create moral drift.
- Evaluate ethical dilemmas using interdisciplinary theories.
- Refine their personal philosophy of leadership that identifies personal values, including individual qualities, virtues, and passions and outlines personal principles for leadership engagement.
