CS 423 Linux Administration
This course will cover the basics of the Linux operating system, with a primary focus on open-source Linux distributions. Students will investigate the features and usability of the operating system, considering its suitability for Enterprise networks. Students will examine how to install Linux, navigate and manipulate the file system, execute tasks using shell scripts, and manage users, software, and resources. The course also covers networking, data management, and strategies for securing Linux systems. By the end of the course, students will have the knowledge and skills to administer Linux within the business world today.
