NRSG 210 Nursing Foundations

The course focuses on the concepts of people, health, and nursing and serves as the basis for the remaining nursing curriculum. Individuals are viewed as bio-psycho-social-spiritual beings who vacillate on the health care spectrum throughout the life cycle. The role of the nurse in the health care delivery system and principles of medication administration are introduced. The nursing process is used in providing individualized nursing care.
