CJ 202 Writing in Criminal Justice
The course will focus on writing essays, reports, and literature reviews as well as thesis development, organization, logic, proofreading, and feedback.

- Students will gain an understanding of the difference between scholarly (academic) and popular (nonacademic) sources
- Students will become proficient at using the UJ Library system to locate quality sources for research projects
- Students will become proficient at using APA style (7th edition) to create reference pages and in-sentence citations
- Students will gain an understanding of basic research methods as needed for the criminal justice profession
