Certificate in Policy in Context

Overview

The certificate in Policy in Context is designed to expose students to making, application, and/or effects of governmental policies in various contexts.

Requirements

Students may earn an undergraduate certificate in Policy in Context by fulfilling the following requirements.

Students must take four of the following courses:

Other courses with a significant government policy component can count for this certificate with the prior approval of the History and Political Science Program.

Outcomes

1. Students will demonstrate familiarity with the making, application, and/or effects of government policies in various contexts.

2. Students will think critically about policy and issues involving those policies and outcomes in different contexts.
