EESC 402 Environmental Research 2

This course will allow students to research current topics presented in the Environmental Science curriculum and is a continuation of EESC 401. Students will analyze the data acquired in EESC 401. Students will provide the results and discussion in a formal report that will include the hypothesis and methodology from EESC 401. Course may be repeated once.

  1. Define and discuss different definitions of sustainability sustainable design, and sustainable development.
  2. Set up and calculate problems related to sustainable designs (chemistry, mass balances, geo-based cycles, air dispersion, carbon emissions, etc.)
  3. Understand models for Sustainable Engineering
  4. Complete Life Cycle Analysis
