HLTH 209 Anatomy and Physiology for Health Professions II
This course is a continuation of Anatomy and Physiology for Health Professions I and focuses on immune, digestive, reproductive, urinary, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Use anatomical terms o describe the basic anatomy (structure) and physiology (functioning) of the body systems covered in this course (cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive).
- Describe human embryonic development.
- Describe homeostasis (including, but not limited to fluid, electrolyte, and acid-base homeostasis), and some of the homeostatic imbalances that can occur in the body system covered in this course.
