This course examines personal health and wellness across the lifespan. A study of physical fitness and neuromotor fitness, decision making skills, the dimensions of health, health promotion and disease prevention strategies.

- Knowledge of the dimensions of health a) emotional and mental health; b) physical fitness; c) nutrition; and d) the effects of substance abuse on emotional, physical, and social health
- Knowledge of health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
- Evaluates food labels, health products, and professional services with decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of personal, family, community and environmental health.
