A study of right-triangle and circular trigonometry, including trigonometric functions, identities, and laws, analytic trigonometry, and applications.

- Use functional notation and operations. Identify the domain and range of various functions and sketch their graphs.
- Perform arithmetic with complex numbers using trigonometric form of complex numbers.
- Sketch graphs in polar coordinates.
- Connect concepts of the trigonometry with other scientific disciplines.
- Value mathematics and develop an ability to communicate mathematics, both in writing and orally.
- Develop mathematical reasoning, and an ability to solve problems.
- Solve linear and quadratic equations/inequalities.
- Know without the aid of a calculator the six trigonometric function values of nice angles.
- Solve right triangle applications using trigonometric functions.
- Sketch graphs of trigonometric and inverse-trigonometric functions.

- Use basic trigonometric identities to simplify trigonometric expressions and solve equations.
