BUSN 321 Business Management

This course examines the principles, procedures, and policies involved in the organization of business enterprises. Special attention is given to the main functional areas of management: planning, organizing, staffing, directing, controlling, and the coordination of these activities.

  4. Identify and provide examples of basic ownership forms.

  6. Describe techniques managers use to motivate individual employees.
  7. Students will also be able to describe human resource management and its importance to the successful operation of an organization.
  8. Understand and identify ethics and corporate social responsibility.
