Student Learning Outcomes
- Understand and able to apply the fundamentals underlying theory of the finite element modelling.
- Comprehend the simulation results of finite element models and write technical reports.
- Model and simulate truss elements, beams and solid models in Soldworks.
- Be able to model and simulate 2D and 3D model geometries and perform the finite element analysis of 2D and 3D truss, surface, shell, and solid elements in Solidworks.
- Be able to write basic FEA programs to simulate 1D and 2D truss elements in MATAB.
