Standard Response Procedures

Shelter-in-Place: Follow announced instructions or announced hazard. Instruction is dependent on the event.

Lockdown: Lock all doors, turn off all lights, and stay out of sight. Used for immediate threats located inside a building. Lock or barricade individual rooms. 

Secure-in-Place: Get or stay inside, in a safe location. Used to direct you to a safer location due to a threat or hazard, typically outside.

Evacuate: Immediately leave and get to a safe location. Used to direct you to a safer location due to a threat or hazard, typically inside.
