LDRS 641 Proposals for Change
The second of three courses in developing the final capstone project. Students will develop a research method for their research or a plan of design or implementation if completing a project. Students will complete any training needed to conduct research. Students will submit their proposals for IRB approval or obtain permission for project implementation if needed.
Outcomes
- 1. Complete appropriate human subjects training.
- 2. Obtain appropriate research or implementation permissions.
- 3. Recognize and explain various research methodologies and their appropriate application.
- 4. Conduct research into appropriate methodologies for their proposed project.
- 5. Develop a working methodology or implementation plan.
- 6. Analyze the potential strengths, limitations, and inherent biases of their proposed methodology.
- 7. Submit their methodology or implementation plan for Program Director approval
