FREN 310 French Conversation and Composition

Continued development of fluency in the use of French as a means of oral and written expression and intensive French grammar review are the main emphases.

Student Learning Outcomes

1. The student will review a wide range of French grammar topics and apply grammar rules to writing and speaking.
2. The student will increase his/her vocabulary and acquaintance with French idiom and language structure through working with supplementary readings to be selected in consultation with the student.
3. The student will practice strategies for carrying on extended conversation in French on a number of topics.
4. The student will improve listening comprehension skills through supplementary listening exercises.
5. The student will improve his/her writing skills through exercises and compositions.
