PSYC 365 Dynamics of Addiction
This course is intended to explore the theories and scope of addiction from both personal and social viewpoints. It examines the impact of addiction on the individual, the family, and society. Addiction symptomology and causation will be covered.

- Demonstrate a basic understanding of the concept of addictive behavior.
- Understand the theories of addiction that contribute to the concept of dependence as a chronic disease.
- Be able to identify the major biological, psychological, social and spiritual impacts of addictive behavior and to think critically about the key issues raised by these theories.
