EDUC 343 Children's Literature and Reading Across the Curriculum
Introduces prospective elementary teachers to the field of children's literature and explores a variety of approaches, including reading-based literature and reading strategies and methods across the curriculum for appropriate use in an elementary classroom.

- Explore ways to engage children with literature for both personal and academic purposes; generate a variety of approaches for introducing and experiencing children's literature in the classroom (InTASC 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
- Use the children's library and web sites to locate books for a variety of experiences and sharing. (InTASC 2, 4, 5, 7)
