KNS 412 Strength and Conditioning Internship
This Capstone experience is the culminating experience in a student's academic preparation, bridging the gap from the academic setting to the professional. Students will utilize the knowledge, skills and abilities they have mastered and apply them in an approved internship setting. Students will complete an internship with direction from the field experience site supervisor with a minimum of two separate experiences.

Outcomes
- Students will utilize the knowledge, skills and abilities they have mastered and apply them in an approved internship
- Students will demonstrate professional and ethical reasoning within the field of strength and conditioning
- Students will observe a minimum of 75 hours in both diverse settings that are substantially different in the following: sport, gender, age range or other
- Students will become skilled in assisting with warm-ups, flexibility training, exercise technique, spotting, Olympic-lifting, progressions/regressions, test selection, program design, speed/agility/plyometric training, anaerobic and aerobic design and periodization
